Dubai’s services are highly digital. UAE PASS, DubaiNow, DubaiPay, Dubai REST, RTA and DEWA channels can reduce physical visits and create one place for recurring tasks. The priority is to install official applications and understand what each approval means.

Digital convenience also creates fraud risk. Search advertisements, copied logos and urgent calls can lead to imitation pages. Use bookmarked official domains and verified app-store publishers; never approve a UAE PASS request you did not initiate.

UAE PASS is the national digital identity for citizens, residents and visitors. It supports secure sign-in, digital signing and sharing official documents with participating entities. Registration and verification level affect available features.

A UAE PASS approval can carry legal or financial consequences. Read the entity, service and document before authorising. Protect the registered mobile number, device lock and email account, and report an unexpected prompt.

DubaiNow brings together services across bills, driving, housing, residence, health and education. DubaiPay supports government payments. Dubai REST covers DLD property services, while RTA and DEWA provide their specialised transport and utility channels.

Keep a simple renewal calendar for residence, Emirates ID, tenancy, insurance, vehicle registration and subscriptions. Save official receipts and reference numbers in an encrypted folder rather than relying on an app notification alone.

For a standard tenancy, Ejari registration can integrate with DEWA’s move-in process. DEWA explains that eligible customer information is transferred after Ejari issuance and a welcome message provides the account and payment route. Other cases may require a direct digital application.

Verify telecom and internet contract length, installation charges, equipment ownership and cancellation terms. Compare real service availability at the exact property; a building name or neighbourhood claim is not enough.

Do not share OTPs, PINs or screen access. Independently verify payment-detail changes with the known organisation. Government and bank communications should be cross-checked through the official app or published phone number, not the link sent by the caller.

Keep work and personal records separated, update devices promptly and use a password manager with unique passwords. If a phone is lost, act quickly to secure the SIM, email, UAE PASS and financial accounts.
